Rental Property Redecoration
Rental properties can live a hard life. It is common that they’ll need to be redecorated between tenants.
We were recently selected to redecorate a rental flat in Langley, Slough. The landlady wanted to make sure that some mould caused by condensation was fully removed and treated. She also wanted the bathroom deep cleaned, and regrouted, so that it was spotless for her new tenant.
We arranged to get the work done as soon as possible, so that there was only a short break in the rent. This meant a run of long days for us, but we were very pleased with the results.
As the landlady lived over 200 miles away, she could visit during to work. To make sure we kept her abreast of the progress, we sent over 600MB of photos and videos of the work being done. This enabled her to ask questions as we went, as well as feel confident that the quality of the decorating was high.
We like to use higher specification paints and materials than might usually be used for rental properties, as we feel it makes them easier to let, and extends the life of the decorating.
